Bhagavad Gita

Bhagavad Gita

This Tuesday, December 2nd marks the supremely auspicious occasion of ‘Gita Jayanti’, the day Lord Sri Krishna spoke the sacred Bhagavad Gita, the ‘Song of God’.

Krishna first spoke this timeless knowledge to the Sun God millions of years ago, but when that knowledge became lost, He again spoke it to Arjuna 5000 years ago on the battlefield of Kuruksetra.

It is said that wherever there is Krishna and Arjuna, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power and morality. Therefore, whenever and wherever the Bhagavad Gita is recited, all-auspiciousness is manifest.

To celebrate this special occasion, on Tuesday 2nd we will recite the full Bhagavad Gita in it’s entirety, this will take about 3 hours! We will start at 5pm and finish at approximately 8pm, we will take a break halfway through and then we will finish with Prasad! (NB if you cannot come for the whole thing, please come for however much you can!)

Please come along and make everything auspicious!
