Hare Krishna!
Dear friends, we are happy to invite you to our Friday Night Gita this May 26th, from 6.30pm till 8.30pm.
This week we are very fortunate to be joined by a special guest, HH Dayananda Swami. He is originally from Yorkshire and has been a monk for over 30 years. He travels all over the world teaching the principles of Bhagavad Gita and Bhakti Yoga. He is in Newcastle for 1 week only, so don’t miss out on this opportunity!
We are continuing with our thematic study of the Bhagavad Gita, specifically on the theme of ‘The Soul and Transmigration’, so Dayananda Swami will be expanding upon verse 13, chapter 2.
This is a classic verse in the Gita wherein Krishna explains how the body is constantly changing from boyhood to youth, to old age. Although the body is continuously changing, the soul remains the same. At the time of death, the soul passes into another body, just like a person changes their clothes when they are old and worn.
Come along to the Friday Night Gita for unparalleled wisdom, mantra meditation, good company, good food and good vibes!
From your servants,
Caitanya Vallabha das and Jagannathesvari devi dasi.
